The Pumpkin Seller

I went back to the Santha at the base of the hill and spent a lot of time focusing on the people in it. Villagers who come every week to sell their wares from morning to noon. One of the photographs I took is of the lady above. An old woman selling Pumpkins. When I showed this photo to my brother in law he said he liked this best cause everyone likes a happy face…that got me thinking of the number of time people with so much more in terms of material goods who seem to have a perpetual sulk on their face. Maybe there is a lesson in here somewhere.
